Have Leftover Easter Bunnies? Make Chocolate Fondue!

Chocolate Fondue, https://www.weknowstuff.us.com/

Easter is the one day of the year that I let my kids eat chocolate from sunrise to sunset. I know it might be consider "bad parenting" nowadays, but growing up, my parents did the same for us – so I follow suit.

Amazingly, the kids eat so much chocolate on Easter that they can't stomach another morsel, and move on to healthier pastures the following day. (See? My parents were on to something!)

However, I'm always left with several uneaten Easter bunnies lying around the house, and I feel bad that those little chocolate bunnies can't be put to good use. So, Aunt Daniele suggested that I turn them into chocolate fondue! (She's really quite brilliant, eh?)

My kids thought it was "awesome" to dip their favorite fruit into warm, molten chocolate – and eat it all up! So, if you've got some Easter candy still kicking around, fondue it – everyone will think you're the coolest Mom in town!

P.S. My kids are both under 5, so I nuked the chocolate in 20 second intervals, and then added it to the fondue pot. If you know my kids, you would know that an open flame + my kids = disaster just waiting to happen!

Denine

This is such a brilliant idea! There are often times around holidays, such as Easter and especially Halloween where one could actually be tired of chocolate! I myself have a chocolate fountain that I pull out for holidays and special occasions. I never thought to use old chocolate for new events, thanks!
