I really should have thought about stuffing the mouse with a mix of catnip and cotton batting. My cat went CRAZY. I was afraid of her. She made me really nervous. I had to hide the mouse on my fireplace mantle. At which point she started stalking around the house looking for it.
I just needed to make sure she would be a little less nutso by the time the kids went to bed. And I was pretty sure she was going to attack me in my bed! Next time I will have to make sure that I sew a bit better and make the mouse out of burlap. Not more than 48 hours later she ripped it’s ears off and now the tail is hanging by a thread. It also has about a hundred pinhole teeth marks in it. Better the mouse than me.
