Animal Towels Are Fun!

Just Ducky

I am often amazed at how simple it is for a child to find the "fun" in almost any thing they set their minds to: like playing in the sprinkler and wearing towels around the backyard.

Shark Shark

After a long day of playing at the beach, my husband and I were dog tired; we just wanted a few minutes of peace and quiet to sit and stare into space. To be honest, we just didn't have it in us to entertain them for even another minute.

So, we dragged out the sprinkler, handed them their towels, and told them to go play. We expected them to put up a royal fuss. So we were completely shocked when they started inventing their very own sprinkler game!

The Game:
First, someone kinks the hose. Then, the other one sits on the sprinkler. Lastly, the "hose kinker" releases the kink and the sprinkler sprays the "sprinkler sitter" on the bum. Hilarious!

Sprinkler Game

The game got even better when they just forgot about kinking the hose and started running through the sprinkler with their towels on.

If only life was always that simple…
