As I mentioned last week, Daniele and I were recently asked to review some local amusement parks near our home, one of which is the Long Island-based Water Park, Splish Splash. Since we had a pretty low-key summer, we were more than happy to go and have some staycation fun!
The original plan was for us to split up, but when my kids got wind of where Daniele’s kids were going, they wanted to go too. Our kids are very co-dependent, which makes planning family trips interesting, so we decided that Daniele and I would review the first amusement park, and we would ask our Contributing Education Blogger, Anne Davis, to review the second.
Like us, Anne is a mom of two little kids and we have a feeling that her family is going to have a blast checking out the local Long Island water park. I must say, I’m a bit jealous myself because I’ve never been to Splish Splash, but I’m sure Anne will take lots of great pictures and will have some really good insider tips and tricks towards making your visit more enjoyable.
