Give Back with Publisher’s Clearing House

Each year as I start to find myself getting wrapped up in the holiday rush, I try to find a moment each day to be thankful. I am most thankful for the health and happiness of my family. I have an amazing group of family and friends that I know I can rely on in both good times and bad. When I find myself leaning on my family and friends for support and encouragement, I often think about the many people in the world that may not be as fortunate.

There are so many people that need the same support, but they do not know where to find it. For that reason alone, companies like Publisher’s Clearing House exist. They have made it their mission each year to help charities that help both adults, children and animals. When we were first approached to participate and spread the word about PCH’s Give Back Event – I was intrigued. Here at We Know Stuff, we always jump at the chance to put a spotlight on a charitable cause, and this one was worth talking about.

The Publisher’s Clearing House Give Back event on their Facebook page has been incredibly successful. Just last year, they gave $100,000 to charities and the giving doesn’t stop at just the Give Back event. Over 40% of PCH’s profits go to trusts for the benefit of charities that support the arts, human rights, the environment, medical research, education and other worthy causes.

This year, you can vote for St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, The ASPCA, or the USO. Voting is incredibly easy – you can vote for your favorite charity by simply visiting PCH’s FaceBook page. Denine & I are both mothers of young children, so we’ll be casting our vote for St. Judes as we hold the health and well-being of all children close to our hearts. We hope that you’ll participate too and vote for your favorite charity to give them the chance to receive this sizeable charitable donation.
