12 Awesome Toys That Get Kids Moving

In a world full of apps, it’s nice to do something that has nothing to do with electronic devices. So here’s 12 Awesome Toys That Get Kids Moving this year!

wks_moving
Where we live, the winters are wet, cold, and long. Even though we do our best to keep our kids active each day, some days, it’s just too cold to go outside. So when the nicer weather does sneak in for a few days at a time, we make sure we bundle them up and get them some fresh air.

Needless to say, we like to make sure that our children have at least one “Get Moving” gift on their Christmas lists each year. This keeps them excited about braving the winter weather when they’re feeling too cooped up inside. Plus, these gifts keep on giving in the sense that once Spring comes back to us, the children are still excited to use these toys. Now that’s my kind of gift!

The benefits of active play are far too numerous to list in our holiday gift guide, but you can probably think of a few reasons off the top of your head about why it’s important:

  • it strengthens their bodies,
  • it helps maintain a healthy weight,
  • it gets the blood flowing,
  • and, it clears their minds.

We hope these gifts get you excited for the Holiday season!
