Dreft For Babies Giveaway!

We’re hosting an amazing Dreft for babies giveaway! Our Dreft “Baby Shower” Package Giveaway (ARV $75) makes a perfect gift for Mom and her baby! This post and giveaway were made possible by iConnect and Dreft. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

A parent’s first baby shower will always hold a special place in their heart. For me, it was the beginning of a new journey that came with many feelings: the fear of whether I’ll be a good mom, the excitement of meeting my little boy, and the joy of sharing this new life with friends and family.

My mother is old fashioned and even though it was only a few years ago, she insisted on having an oversized, white, wicker chair for me to sit in the whole time. It truly resembled something out of a 1980’s wedding home video, but in retrospect, when I look back at pictures, it was perfect.

With a theme of frogs and the room being covered in various shades of blues to inform the world that there was a little boy growing inside of me, I felt nothing short of love. I had peace of mind knowing that my son would grow up surrounded by positive role models and heroes. But even with this knowledge, as a first-time mother, I had many other concerns.

What was the best feeding method?

What should I wash his clothes with?

Will I be able to afford the best so I can stay within budget?

Luckily, Dreft for babies made it so easy for me. Not only is Dreft the #1 baby laundry detergent choice of pediatricians and the #1 dermatologist recommended brand for baby clothes, but Dreft Newborn and Active Baby detergents are gentle and hypoallergenic on baby’s sensitive skin, tough on stains and have a baby fresh scent. They may not have been able to solve every little concern I had as a new Mom, but Dreft definitely understands that parenthood and babyhood is messy, and their detergent successfully cleans our messiest clothes!

That’s why when I heard that Dreft was partnering with popular reality TV couple Sean and Catherine Lowe from “The Bachelor” to celebrate their new role as expectant parents and share their beautiful, messy journey of #amazinghood, I wasn’t surprised. As a Mom of three boys, I understand the need for a product that really works, time and time again.

I was also reminded of my own baby registry and how happy I was when I received tons of Dreft Detergent. My family understands the importance of wrapping our babies in safe clothes washed gently with Dreft. And if you’re a mom like me – who holds their newborns way more than they should so they can continually smell their little heads – you understand why that fresh baby scent is so amazing!

Sean and Catherine Lowes’ parenting journey and partnership with Dreft commenced at their Dreft “Loads of Love” baby shower (on April 27th) where the couple was showered with all the love, support and essentials needed to prepare them for the arrival of their precious new baby. And when they were asked about their baby shower registry, they noted that Dreft Newborn detergent was a must have. Can you blame them?

Dreft has been in our family for generations. My mom used it to wash my baby clothes so it feels good to follow a wise tradition to wash all of the baby items with a gentle, hypoallergenic and effective detergent that has been trusted for over 80 years. Dreft was one of the first things we put on our baby registry and are having a blast preparing for the baby’s arrival by setting up the nursery and washing all of the baby’s linens and clothes in Dreft Newborn Detergent. The wonderful baby scent of Dreft on all of the onesies is really getting us excited to hold baby in our arms!

Their parents used it, their friends recommended it, and the smell of freshly washed baby clothes has made them even more excited for the little one’s arrival. Over the next year, everyone can share in the Lowe’s journey through #Amazinghood by following Dreft on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter where Sean and Catherine will be sharing exclusive content and messy memories. Plus, you’ll learn more about Dreft’s 3 products: Dreft Stage 1: Newborn; Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby; and Dreft Blissfuls!

I still remember the days that each of my children were born like yesterday and I am overflowed with emotion just thinking about it. Holding them closely to my chest, wrapped in the softest blankets, can make anyone wish for time to stand still, even if just for a day. As my boys get older, they’ll keep on getting smellier and messier, but using Dreft detergents will keep them smelling like newborns once again.

Before you go, make sure you enter this amazing giveaway opportunity,

Gina

Who would think one would get choked up reading a detergent blog, but that I did. I’ll remember this blog, these sentiments, and will always recommend dreft products.
