Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Biscuit Recipe

Our dogs go bonkers for all of our homemade dog biscuit recipes. This homemade peanut butter dog biscuit recipe is made with all natural, dog-friendly ingredients like peanut butter and coconut oil from Carrington Farms.

Oh, no! February 20^th was National Love Your Pet Day and we missed it! 

Usually, I’m pretty on top of all things dog-related because I love my furry little kids to pieces. But this week, the kids were off from school on break and we were greeted with a spell of gorgeous weather, so we spent the week playing outside. Sorry, doggies!

To make up for it, I decided to make our dogs this homemade peanut butter dog biscuit recipe. I really love spoiling my fur kids with tasty, all natural treats, which is probably why we have so many homemade dog biscuit recipes on the blog!

Dog lovers only want the best for their furry friends and that’s really easy to do when you make your own dog treats at home. Plus, making your own dog biscuits is really easy to do and your dog will thank you. Trust me, mine go bonkers every time I bake a batch. 

Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 tablespoon of Carrington Farms Coconut Oil
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• dog bone cookie cutter

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Whisk together peanut butter, honey, oil and chicken broth. In a separate bowl, combine flours and oatmeal. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

Step 3: Place dough on flour dusted surface. Roll or press dough out to about 1/4″ inch thick. Use a small bone cookie cutter to cut out cookies. The size is up to you, depending on the size of your dog. Roll out leftover scraps and cut out as many as possible.

Step 4: Put cut out cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack.

Step 5: Store at room temp in an airtight container for about a week, or longer if you store in the refrigerator.
