11 Creative Toys for Girls

Our 11 Creative Toys For Girls gift guide focuses on a few quality toys that will provide hours of constructive play time and foster their imaginations.

Unlike our boys, our girls are still happily engaged in playing with their dolls and stuffed animals. It’s not that they don’t like their WiiU, they just don’t feel the need to play with it as much as the boys do. So when we ask them what they want for Christmas, there lists are filled with all sorts of fun, imaginative play toys.

As Moms, this makes us very happy because we love toys that help foster their imaginations. Whether they’re playing with their new Lottie Dolls or fighting an epic battle with their Schleich Bayala Figures, as long as they’re using their minds creatively, we try to stay out of their play space.

Creative play among girls helps them develop all sorts of growth skills and critical thinking skills, but most importantly, in our opinion, it helps them learn how to play and engage with other girls. It also helps them think outside of the box. If their friends can’t come over for a play date, they have to come up with a really good idea if they’re going to convince their brothers to come play with them. By agreeing to let their brother’s dragons blow up their Schleich Magic Elf Castle – they get to play with their favorite toys.

So with this in mind, we created a gift guide with our girls that is comprised of toys that they currently have or are asking Santa for this year. These 11 Creative Toys For Girls focus on a few high quality items that will provide hours of creative play.

I love your post today…so true to my own story of my Barbies and how I cared for them. My daughter needs a better organizational system for her Barbies. I think she would play with them more often! I love this doll you are featuring! She reminds me so much of my daughter who is 9 and is not in too much of a hurry to grow up! Thank goodness!
