Our Favorite Gift Ideas For Dogs

Our Favorite Gift Ideas For Dogs is full of practical products that we know and love. Our dogs are our family so they deserve something special on Christmas too!

Before there were kids, there were dogs (and cats). Sadly, our cats are long gone now, but the dogs are still with us. So it only seemed fitting that we would include our furry, four-legged friends in this year’s selection of Holiday Gift Guides.

For those of you that read our blog often, you already know that I own two naughty, yet incredibly beautiful, English Setter rescues. We rescued them many moons ago from a fantastic organization, Another Chance for English Setters. We admire this organization so much that we volunteered to be a part of their Home Visit team as well as a foster family for any incoming puppies. Unfortunately, we haven’t done a Home Visit in quite some time now because Long Islanders are severely slacking when it comes to bringing this gorgeous breed to our hometown. (Come on people!! Rescue!!)

Anyways, in our home, long-haired dogs rule the roost, just as they did in my parent’s home. My entire life, I’ve always been surrounded by four-legged creatures (cats included) and I know how insane the hair can be. In addition to understanding the importance of owning a great vacuum with solid suction capabilities, I also know that it’s incredibly important to keep your pets groomed.

With that said, grooming expenses can get a bit pricey, so we recently started cutting our dogs’ hair ourselves. You can see us in action here and here. For our first time, I think my husband and I did a pretty decent job…minus one or two racing stripes down their sides. I can definitely say that the type of razor we used helped tremendously, which is why we decided to share Our Favorite Gifts For Dogs with you. It’s full of practical products that we know and love. Happy Shopping Dog Lovers!

I don’t know if I could pick just one! I used to love The Very Busy Spider but also loved Harry the Dirty Dog and just about all the Dr. Seuss books and basically any book I could get my hands on. I LOVED to read as a kid! I still do now, just don’t have as much time as I used to!

These clippers would be AWESOME to win. 😀 😀 😀
