My Christmas Wish List (Wayfair Kitchen) is full of items that are the true workhorses of my kitchen. They are the items I use daily and you will too.
With Christmas around the corner, I have been spending a lot of time reviewing my children’s Dear Santa lists. I have subtly been trying to find out which are the toys they have their hearts set on and which are the toys that they saw a 30 second commercial about. It’s hard work trying to get my kids to talk. Especially when you are trying to decode a four page wish list written by a seven and eight year old.
“Does this say 2 elf kings?”
“No mom, zelfkins.”
“Oh, right – ummm what are they?”
“You know! Those little elfy people with fluffy hair.”
The split second my daughter was asleep in bed, I flipped open my laptop. I frantically started googling zelfkins, elfkins, zelfins, elfins…nada, nothing! Time to call my sister. As usual, she saved the day. She quickly let me in on the fact that they were called Zelfs, not Zelf-kins. As I started to sigh a breath of relief I realized I still had three more pages of Christmas wish lists to decode.
I was going to need a big cup of tea and an even bigger plate of cookies for this one. As I sat in my kitchen dreading the mom-umental task in front of me, I began to think of my own holiday wish list. Our kitchen is the center of our home and we spend most of our time there. We have our meals there, we do homework there and we gather to talk about our day.
As I started to compile my own “wish list” I looked around the kitchen and took a minute to appreciate the true workhorses of my kitchen. The items I use almost daily, the ones that stand up to the challenge of feeding a hungry family of four every day. We spend a lot of time cooking and the kitchen items we have purchased over the years have been a real investment. They always work when I need them to and that makes me very happy!
- KitchenAid Classic Series 5-Speed Blender
- Le Creuset Enamel On Steel 1.8 Qt. Classic Whistling Tea Kettle
- Le Creuset Stoneware 12 Oz. Mug
- Le Creuset Le Creuset Cast Iron 10″ Skillet Grill

I really try to have a minimalist approach to the items I keep in my home. We live in a little cottage, which means we have to be mindful of our storage. I try to keep only the items that I use in my daily life, and anything else I prefer to donate. However, that doesn’t mean that if Santa just happened to stuff a few of these items in my stocking, I would send them back to the North Pole. I am pretty confident that I would be able to squeak out a little more space for these practical kitchen items that I found at Wayfair Kitchen.
- Bodum Brazil French Press Coffeemaker
- KitchenAid 3.5-Cup Food Chopper
- Le Creuset Stoneware Sugar and Creamer Set
