Easy Peasy Halloween Treat: Ghost Cupcakes

Ghost Cupcake-Cake
Over Columbus Day weekend, my husband and I hosted his extended family over at our house for an annual Regan Family Get Together. While I was making some Mini Triple-Treat Cupcakes for our guests, I spied a lonely box of cake mix in the pantry.

I had just finished reading the October issue of Family Fun magazine and knew exactly what I was going to do with that sad little box…I would make the adorable Ghost Cupcake-Cake that was featured in their tricks and treats section.

The kids outnumber the adults nowadays, so I knew they'd get a kick out of this easy peasy Halloween-themed dessert. Plus, cupcakes are the perfect dessert for large crowds – you can just grab one and go! Forks are optional…

Hi! I saw this in the magazine too and wanted to make it this weekend. How many cupcakes did you use? Was it all 24? I tried counting the ‘bumps’ in the picture and only counted 21. Thanks so much.
