Whenever my husband travels I like to make him something special to snack on when he gets home. The last time he returned from a long trip I knew he would be arriving after the kids were asleep. I was thrilled that we would have some time alone to talk about his trip so I gathered up some basic ingredients and made him bruschetta.
This is such an easy, simple snack I don’t know why I don’t make it more often. All you really need are some tomatoes and bread, it doesn’t get easier than that!
Ingredients: 1 small Italian bread
5 plum tomatoes
2 large cloves of garlic
5 fresh basil leaves
6 fresh oregano leaves
Salt & Pepper
1 small Italian bread
(Make sure you babysit your bread so it doesn’t burn.)
