Whenever my husband travels I like to make him something special to snack on when he gets home. The last time he returned from a long trip I knew he would be arriving after the kids were asleep. I was thrilled that we would have some time alone to talk about his trip so I gathered up some basic ingredients and made him bruschetta.
5 plum tomatoes
2 large cloves of garlic
5 fresh basil leaves
6 fresh oregano leaves
Olive oil
Salt
(Make sure you babysit your bread so it doesn’t burn.)
My husband and I love this recipe.We added some fresh shrimp to the ingredient as well….yummy!
