After a really long winter, I'm really, really looking forward to spring. I cannot wait to ditch my winter boots and jeans and jump into some flip-flops and maxi-dresses. I want to feel the warm sun on my skin, and right about now, I wouldn't even mind some sweat beads trickling down my face.

 

This past weekend, we caught a teensy-weensy glimmer of what spring is supposed to look like. Down at  the ball field, we were greeted with sunshine and mild breezes and we were able to stand about watching our son play baseball with just our vests on. It wasn't exactly the balmy weather we've dreaming of, but at this point, we'll take anything!

My kids, however, have already decided that it's warm enough for shorts and summer dresses. In their minds, Spring has Sprung, which means at the first glimpse of sunshine this weekend, they were digging around in their drawers for their summer clothes. Usually, I'd put up a fuss (because it really isn't warm enough), but after this ridiculously cold weather, I just didn't have it in my heart to send them back to their rooms for warmer clothing.

 

You see, we had picked up some new duds from Susan Lazer's Spring EGG Baby line – and my kids just love her clothes. They're made from the softest fabrics you can imagine, and anything that I buy from EGG Baby quickly becomes their go-to clothes when they're looking for something comfy to put on.

As a mom with active kids, I really enjoy her line. Not only are the clothes incredibly soft (Can I say that enough? If you have kids with sensitive skin, you know why I'm harping over this!), but they wash well, move well, and stand up well to my two rambunctious kids. 

 

The new spring line is super cute, with delicate florals and fruit prints for girls, and cool nautical motifs for boys. With sizes ranging from newborn to 8 YRS, I'm pretty bummed that this will be the last year that my son will fit into this clothing line. (Susan Lazar, please take note – your fans want you to make an older kids line!!)
