This Cool Christmas Playlist is full of fun, upbeat, non-traditional, Holiday music to get you through the coldest winter runs. Merry Christmas Everyone! ~ This shop is part of the JBL.com Portable Speakers for the Holidays #shop hosted by #CollectiveBias and its advertiser. All opinions are my own. ~
In our home, the arrival of the holidays is a very exciting time. Not for the family that will be visiting, or the yummy food that will be eaten, or for the portable presents that will be shuttled down the chimney. Nope, for us, the Holiday Season means the arrival of Holiday music. For some of my family members (ahem – my husband), this anticipation is almost too much to bear. As his wife, I find this wildly amusing because he is definitely not the type of guy you would pin as a Holiday music aficianado.
I think that the love of Holiday music is something that happens to many men, often when they become fathers. I like to think they are reliving the excitement of the Holidays vicariousely through their children. My own father shared the same love of Holiday music. The second Thanksgiving arrived, he would be at the radio methodically scanning the stations for Holiday music.
Until my dad found the song he was looking for, you weren’t allowed to speak – unless you heard Jingle Bells!
Now as an adult, I find myself scanning radio stations in my car for Holiday music. Nothing can put me in a festive mood faster than hearing my favorite holiday songs on the radio. Most of the radio stations start playing the holiday music right around Thanksgiving, although I have to admit – I wouldn’t mind if they started playing them sooner! My husband of course shares this sentiment and he mentioned the other day that it was almost time for Holiday music.
This got me thinking about finding a way that he could enjoy Holiday music now. I knew he didn’t want to wait another two weeks so I decided to hatch a plan. While he was playing with the kids, I decided to take his phone and create a Holiday music playlist for him. It was fun and easy to do and I had it complete before he even noticed his phone was missing. As he bundled up in his running gear that afternoon, I told I left him a surprise on his playlist.
It’s sleek, wireless design allows it to fit almost anywhere and I couldn’t get over the amazing sound quality. Plus in social mode it let’s up to three people take turns playing their own playlist so you can listen to everyone’s favorite songs. As a busy mom, I really appreciated the convenience of shopping online at jbl.com. With free ground shipping and returns it made this purchase a no brainer.

I know several people on my list who would be thrilled to get these this year. Ultra sleek !
I love our JBL speaker. It’s certainly convenient to take anywhere!
I think that my niece would enjoy the Pulse because of the portability and she’d probably really like the LED light show.
I have a smaller speaker from them and it has great sound quality so I can only imagine how good that sounds! My brother would love that for Christmas, I’ll have to put it on my list!
The sound quality of these speakers are phenomenal. Wonderful review!
I love holiday music too and I can’t wait until the day after Thanksgiving so I can start playing it!!! I’ve seen these speakers in use and they are great. I’m thinking Santa may need to bring us one too!
What a great gift idea! We have new iPhones and are looking for new accessories!
These speakers are the COOLEST! Total must-have for the holiday season!
That’s a beautiful speaker! I bet my husband would really love it.
These speakers look super slick and compact. My daughter would love to use these for yoga.
Oooh, I need one of these! I can only clean with good music playing, but have no way to play it nice and loud. Definitely looking at these for my Christmas list.
This is one cool speaker! I can see this under the tree for hubby this year.
I love the option of social mode. It’d be fun to host a music listening party where guests can dj. I will have to tell Santa about these.
There is just something magical about holiday music. My husband was telling me the other day that he and our 4 year old were listening to a Mickey Mouse Christmas CD in the car. That wasn’t the point of the story he was telling, but that comment made me smile!
The social mode is pretty darn cool- I just love that up to 3 people can be feeding a playlist to the device at the same time! #client
