When it comes to exercise, running is a family favorite. Depending upon which member of the family you’re talking to, we all have our own reasons for running. Some of us run to clear our minds, some of us run to get some alone time, some of us run to reduce our stress levels, and some of us just run to run. Although our reasons for running may all be different, we can all agree on one thing: when it comes to exercise, running is one of the readily accessible things you can do to better your physical and mental wellness.
As #fitfluential and #sweatpink ambassadors, we added a new section on our web site this past fall to help raise awareness about the importance of Family Health and Fitness. Although it’s still in its infancy, we are slowly building it up with the help of my husband, who does Ironman Race Reports, and our Contributing Writer, Michele Phillips, from A Pace of Balance.
So it should come as no surprise that we would be including a Holiday Gift Guide for all of the runners in our lives. From cost-effective gadgets to pricey ones, we’ve tried to include a fun array of products for you to choose from.

Great list! I need to get the reflective triangle really badly. In fact I think I will go order it right now in honor of my Aunt. It is 1 year ago tomorrow that she took her dog for a walk and was hit by a car and killed. It made getting back to running really hard for me and I still worry. That would give me peace of mind but not make me feel hot when I run. Thanks for the great list and idea!
