Most mornings, my house looks like it was ransacked by a pack of wild boars. Cereal bits are strewn across the table, placemats are covered in mystery goo, toothpaste is exploded all over the sink, and fruit scraps can be found everywhere but the garbage pail. I often look around in disbelief because seriously folks, I only have two kids.

I promise you that I have taught them proper manners. We always talk about using your napkin, not talking with your mouth full, washing your hands before your eat, and cleaning up the sink after you brush your teeth. But for some reason, on school days, my children are like wild animals and forget all of these simple things.

The unfortunate part is that I work from home and I need to start my work day as soon as the kids get on the bus. So this means that I either straighten up as soon as they leave, or I have to do it at the end of my work day. Since I always function better in a tidy environment, I opt for cleaning up their messes as quickly as I can as soon as they head out the door.

It’s not that I don’t want to deep clean every nook and cranny each morning, it’s just that I don’t really have time to. So I rely on some simple Clorox® products that help me whip my home into shape with as minimal effort as possible and help me accomplish a “real life” clean. You know, the type of clean that I can realistically achieve with one hand, one pump, one wipe.

3 CLOROX® CLEANING PRODUCTS THAT I LOVE RIGHT NOW

1.) Clorox® ScrubSingles Bathroom Pads (for bathroom cleaning)

My bathroom is a nightmare each morning, especially now that my kids brush their own teeth. I’m not sure what goes on behind closed doors, but man-oh-man, it involves a lot of toothpaste-filled spit left in my sink! Aside from it being really gross, if you leave that stuff to dry, you might as well grab a chisel to get it off the next time you clean.

This is why I leave a box of Clorox® ScrubSingles bathroom pads under the sink. They’re preloaded with Clorox® cleaner and feature a scrubbing surface designed to power through tough messes – like blobs of toothpaste – and really attack stubborn bathroom stains. All I need to do is grab a pad, wet it with water and squeeze to activate.

2.) Clorox® Pump ‘N Clean Kitchen & Dish Cleaner (for kitchen cleaning)

A messy kitchen makes me bonkers. I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so seeing any kind of leftover breakfast food on the counter makes me cranky. And, it’s ant season right now and I don’t want to give them any reason to come into my home!

This is why I love Clorox® Pump ‘N Clean Kitchen & Dish Cleaner. It’s a powerful bleach-free liquid that I can just put on a paper towel and wipe up messes in a flash. It’s a multipurpose, multi-surface cleaning solution that’s food-safe and so easy that I can do it with just one hand.

3.) Clorox® Triple Action Dust Wipes (for rest-of-house cleaning)

Most days, I work in my office, but on picture shooting days, I work downstairs…on my black dining room table. We like to keep the windows open as much as possible, so this means that my lovely black dining room table is often covered in pollen. I kick myself daily for having a 7 foot tall lilac bush right outside of the dining room window, but I have no intentions of moving it, so…I dust. A lot.

Clorox® Triple Action Dust Wipes are my go-to when I need to dust my black furniture-filled dining room in a hurry. These dry, non-abrasive wipes feature an interlocking weave that traps and locks dust. I use them on the furniture, baseboards, my portable speaker, and even my picture frames!

I’m also a germaphobe and for me is really important to keep my home clean. My problem is that I’m very busy with my job and the kids so I very often call a local cleaning company to help me. The rest of the time I like to use tools that make the cleaning easy and fast. That is why the dust wipes seem really good to me and I would love to try them!

Clorox cleaning products seem really helpful and nice! I’d love to try them as I am dealing with the same mess every day. I have three kids and they are all boys. They can make mess from everything and all the time so I have to clean around them all the time and I’d love to have safe and effective cleaner for everyday use. Sometimes when I have very busy days at work I call cleaners to help me but as a general I do everything by myself and this is why I am always searching for new methods to save me time and energy. Thank you for the post! Greetings!

These are some great tips! One of my rules around here is to always clean the kitchen after dinner. There is nothing worse than waking up to a pile of dirty dishes. Thanks for sharing! #client
