Last summer, my brother married the love of his life and we gained an amazing sister-in-law. They held an incredibly low-key, but super fun wedding in our backyard. And each time someone grabbed my hand to tell me “how much fun they were having” or how it was “the best wedding they’ve ever gone to” – I smiled and agreed. The newlyweds managed to throw the perfect party by focusing on what matters most – being with loved ones.

After fifteen years of being married to my husband, I’ve learned a thing or two about what matters most in life.
