When you have three boys, all under the age of 5, life can get a wee bit exhausting. They’re the loves of my life, but they keep me on my feet with their endless supply of energy. And since they’re still so little, my life is full of lots of messy moments.
So after a long tiring day with my boys, I love getting them out of their daytime clothes and into something comfy – like their pajamas. In our home, “PJ Time” doesn’t necessarily mean bedtime; it just means that we’re done playing outside for the day and now we’re settling down for whatever the evening may bring.
Perhaps it’s a pre-dinner bath to remove a day’s worth of mud. Maybe it’s their favorite tv show on the couch before Daddy comes home for dinner. Or in all likelihood, I probably need to do some laundry and their pajamas are the only clean things I can find!
No matter what the reason may be, I always know they’ll be happy to put on a pair of their favorite pajamas from Carter’s. So when my mom told me that she used to drape all five of us siblings in Carter’s pajamas, I felt at ease putting my three boys in their incredibly comfortable sleepwear too. My mom adored Carter’s when we were kids and she still remembers the melody, “If they can only stay little ’til their Carter’s wear out.”
I also like that Carter’s never misses a beat when it comes to what’s trendy at the moment. They are really good at producing modern styles for young children and adorable options for toddlers too. If you only knew how many of their “Little Brother” / “Big Brother” pajama sets I bought when our family was growing, you’d laugh. But I was excited and it was so much fun!

It was also nice to know that I could buy pajamas that were tailored to my boys’ specific needs and wants. For example, my first son was always in one-piece pajamas. He preferred being snuggled and needed to feel as if he was always wrapped in warmth. So he spent a lot of time looking like he had alligator and puppy feet!
But as we brought more little boys into this world and moved to Florida, we needed to expand our pj selection. One-piece footie pajamas were just too hot for Florida, so we moved on to printed 2-pieces and mix-and-match sets so their little feet could be free!
