Like most children, my kids really love pancakes. I recently came across this recipe for Chocolate Hazelnut Pancakes in Parents magazine. The recipe was included in an article about introducing nuts into your child's diet. (Nuts are a great source of protein as long as your children have no nut related allergies.)
As soon as I told the kids I was going to make them chocolate pancakes and they were sold. I have to say, they really tasted great. The kids loved them and so did I! My son had his with bananas and syrup and my daughter prefered hers plain so she could eat it like a taco. Whatever floats their boat!
