Apple season has kicked into high gear here on Long Island and we are incredibly lucky to have numerous orchards and farms to visit. Once September comes, we make as many trips as we can with our family to the East End during apple season. One of our favorite apple orchards to visit is
One of our favorite apple orchards to visit is Woodside Orchards in Aquebogue, NY. They have a nice-sized orchard that’s perfect for tiring small children out, but not too big to be overwhelming. We always make sure to leave with at least two bags of freshly picked apples, so that we can make some of our favorite fall recipes once the cooler weather sets in. Some of our tastiest treats include: Apple Cider, Slowcooker Applesauce, Baked Apples and Caramel Apples too!
