I really have no idea how the summer passed by so quickly. I keep wishing that the beginning of school would magically get pushed farther away. I know my summer went so quickly due to my absolute denial of my daughter starting kindergarten.
When my daughter was a baby so many people would tell me "enjoy it, because it goes so fast". It has gone fast, but sometimes time seems to stand still. Like that one hot summer day that I found myself at the uniform shop picking out her uniform. I crammed myself into the changing room with her, not to share a special moment, but to stop her from screaming.
Screaming on the top of her lungs "I HATE THIS UGLY UNIFORM. I WILL NEVER EVER WEAR THIS. IT IS THE UGLIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. UGLY UGLY UGLY. AND GREEN IS A BOY COLOR!"
I emerged from the dressing room, sweating profusely, bright red and hoping I didn't run into anyone from her new school. So, as I try to hold onto the last few days of summer with my little guys, I thought I would share some fun crafts we did together. I hope you enjoyed your summer as much as I did – even the moments that didn't go fast enough!

These crafts look so cute! I look forward to a time when my boys are old enough to enjoy a project like that… For now we’ll stick to finger painting (yogurt painting for the baby).
