This super simple Carrot Apple Juice Recipe shouldn’t even really be called a recipe. All you need to do is just chuck some fruit in your juicer!

Ten years ago, I bought my husband a juicer for his birthday. I know, that’s very romantic, right? But back then, he really wanted it. So I did the wifely thing and got him one, but I haven’t seen it since.

I mean, when we bought our house seven years ago, I vaguely remember unpacking it. But over the past seven years, I would just occasionally see some unknown appliance peeking out from the back of the cupboard. When I saw it, I would ask my husband, “Is that the juicer?” and he would just shrug his shoulders. (I guess that was one gift he wasn’t very attached to!)

Since I’m not really a juice person, I never really cared about the juicer that “was or wasn’t” way back in the cupboard collecting dust. I just ignored it. Like he did.

But, this afternoon I ran out of apple juice and my kids were pretty upset. I didn’t have time to go to the store and to be honest, I was panicking a bit. There’s two of them and only one of me – so you never know what’s going to happen! That’s when I remembered all about the juicer!

The Juiceman Jr. is awesome! I can not believe this little guy has been neglected for seven years! After today’s juicing, I will definitely be using him more often!

CARROT APPLE JUICE RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 4 carrots
  • 2 apples

Directions:

Step 1: Wash your produce and put it in the juicer, voila! Juice! If your kids like a sweeter juice, use 3 apples, 3 carrots.

Enjoy,

Daniele
