6 simple valentine’s day projects for elementary students to make in February

Making valentine’s day projects for elementary students is a fun and easy way to get creative with students.

Who doesn’t love breaking out the glue sticks and construction paper in the middle of a long school day? I know it was always my favorite part of the day when I was a kid! Having children of my own, I have volunteered for just about every class I could. What can I say, I love my kids and it was always a great way to bring a little joy to the students. Its also a bonus that I really, really enjoy crafting!

I think these Valentine’s Day projects for elementary students will work for most ages. Older kids will love making the pipe cleaner heart garland. Make it into a fun team building exercise and see if they can span the classroom with the garland. Younger kids will love making the Valentine’s zip line, especially if you fill it with stickers, bubbles and erasers! And everyone will love making the heart shaped potato stampers! No matter what age your kids are, you’ll find something fun to make for Valentine’s Day!
